Ready to hang? Let's go!
Hanging the LEVELette is so easy. You'll have your curtains beautifully hung in no time. No holes in the wall. No major tools needed. No need to ask for help...but of course having a friend around will show how smart you are for buying the LEVELette. See the video below for a quick tutorial on how to hang the LEVELette, but you may not even have to watch the video...that's how easy they are to use.
A pair of LEVELette curtain rod brackets will come with two base pieces (one left and one right), two adjustable hooks (one left and one right), six wood screws, two set screws, two screws to secure your curtain rod in place, and one allen wrench. You will need a drill or a screw driver to mount the base pieces to your wood trim.
Using the included allen wrench and set screws, assemble the left and right bracket pairs together as shown. Pre-assembling and securing the set screw makes for the easiest install.
Place the bracket on the window trim, making sure the post of the hook component is placed past the edge of the trim so it moves freely up and down through the tube.
With a pencil, mark the wood trim through the holes you will drill the screws through. Through the top is ideal.
With a 3/32 drill bit, pre-drill the holes for an easier installation and to prevent the wood from splitting.
Then, drill the brackets in place with the included wood screws.
After the curtains are hung, adjust the height of the rod as needed so your curtains are at the desired height from the floor. To do so, simply loosen the set screw in the tube with one hand while adjusting the height of the rod with the other hand, then tighten the set screw in place.
Now you can enjoy your beautiful windows and get to styling the rest of the room.
